A Retail Media Network for Mid-Sized and Smaller Operators

The companies have joined forces to accelerate the broader adoption of retail media in Finland and to make it easier for mid-sized and smaller operators in the retail sector, as well as other businesses with audiences of interest to advertisers, to get involved.

Starting retail media operations independently requires significant investments in various areas, from organizing media sales to building technical capabilities. This collaboration-enabled network offers companies a low-barrier opportunity to test the attractiveness of their audiences to advertisers and to explore the additional revenue potential that the network can generate.

This collaboration in brick-and-mortar retail media is internationally at the forefront of development. Worldwide – especially in the U.S. – there are already a few similar in-store retail media networks, but they typically focus on specific regional operators, such as convenience store chains. This domestic network can also include industries on the fringes of traditional retail and other entities with audiences that advertisers want to reach.
